Methods to Control Glue Viscosity

• Reduce the contact area between the glue pan, glue bucket, and air. Ensure the glue bucket is tightly covered.

• Do not deliver the glue to the glue pan too early to minimize downtime waiting for materials.

  
  

• The circulating glue should not be too much (control the speed strictly based on machine speed, especially for retort pouch products), add small amounts frequently to keep the glue fresh.

  
  

• Glue preparation personnel should measure the viscosity regularly and keep records, and measure the liquid temperature if necessary.

  
  

• It is best to have an automatic viscosity control system. If not, supplement ethyl ester to maintain viscosity as needed based on changes in viscosity.

  
  

• Equip with a solvent suspension bucket to control the flow rate to supplement the ethyl ester to maintain viscosity. In coastal cities during summer, the air humidity will significantly increase. For cities like Sichuan and Chongqing, the air humidity will be significantly higher, with very limited sunny days in winter, and the humidity is also high. During the rainy season in the south, the air humidity is also very high.
